SOL sells its ownership interest in WALLENIUS SOL to Wallenius Lines

Together with Wallenius Lines, SOL Group has built WALLENIUS SOL into a strong industrial shipping and logistics company in Northern Europe. Wallenius Lines has now entered into an agreement to acquire SOL Group’s ownership interest and will become the sole owner of WALLENIUS SOL, subject to regulatory approvals. 

For WALLENIUS SOL, this provides increased clarity and long-term ownership stability. The company will continue to operate with the same management, organization and long-term strategy, firmly in place.

For SOL Group, this is a natural and planned step. We exit the ownership structure with pride in what has been built together and with full confidence in WALLENIUS SOL’s continued development. SOL Group can now fully focus on its own businesses and strategic priorities, while leaving WALLENIUS SOL in very good hands.
