To our customers on the Gothenburg – Zeebrugge service

SOL Continent Line has conducted sales and marketing operations on the Gothenburg – Zeebrugge service on behalf of Stora Enso since November 2014, using ships chartered by Stora Enso.

Stora Enso has now announced that as from the middle of June this year they will no longer be chartering ships for operation on the service between Gothenburg and Zeebrugge. As the ships will no longer be available to us, SOL Continent Line will not be able to continue booking cargo on this service.

We must therefore sadly inform you that the service between Gothenburg and Zeebrugge will end on 17th June, 2019.

We have enjoyed making this fantastic and exciting journey with you, experiencing both highs and lows on the way.

At SOL Continent Line, we are deeply sorry for the situation that has arisen and hope for your understanding under the circumstances. The market’s needs on this route will reportedly be met by increased capacity provided by other shipping companies.

We are, of course, at your disposal to answer questions to the best of our ability. The current schedule and service will remain unchanged until the above date.

We take this opportunity to thank all of you for the years during which we have had the honour of working with you on our Gothenburg – Zeebrugge service and look forward to continuing our co-operation on SOL Continent Line’s other services.
