Swedish Orient Line named Employer of the Year!

We are proud to announce that Swedish Orient Line has the most engaged employees among companies with up to 100 employees. This became evident when Brilliant Awards named Swedish Orient Line Employer of the Year.

Brilliant Awards — Employee Experience is an annual award for organizations that have successfully created a positive work environment resulting in high employee engagement. Among six finalists, Swedish Orient Line is the company with the highest level of employee engagement and can therefore be titled Employer of the Year.

We are incredibly proud of this award. We understand the importance of building a humble crew that enjoys working as a team. An anchor chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and that mindset permeates everything we do, says Ragnar Johansson, CEO of Swedish Orient Line.

The employee survey results show that Swedish Orient Line has highly engaged employees who feel full trust from the management. 100% of the employees state that they would recommend Swedish Orient Line as a workplace to a friend.

These are fantastic results that ultimately reflect our shared vision of treating and caring for each other. We will continue to work systematically to maintain the unique corporate culture that each of our employees contributes to on a daily basis, says Ragnar Johansson.

About Brilliant Awards Employee Experience:

  • The results are based exclusively on data from the companies' own employee surveys.
  • 185 companies and 235,000 employee responses form the basis for the decision-making.
  • A response rate of at least 80% is required to participate.
  • Data collection has been ongoing since January 1, 2020, and has been collected throughout the year.
